| production method | prepared by reacting thulium oxide with dry hydrogen fluoride gas. The optimum reaction temperature is 600~750 ℃. The reaction was carried out in a rotary kiln fluorination furnace. The amount of oxide treated per furnace was more than 20kg. The consumption of dry hydrogen fluoride was about 2.5 times the theoretical amount. The oxygen content in the prepared high quality fluoride is within 0.04% ~ 0.1%, the conversion rate can reach 99%, and the recovery rate of rare earth is higher than 98%. In the operation of this method, attention should be paid to the protection of strong corrosive hydrogen fluoride gas. |
